Events

North American Microbiome Congress – San Diego, 24-25 January 2017. This is the conference that was criticized online by Jonathan Eisen (see here) and me about the initial lack of diversity in the speaker line-up. The organizers have taken this to heart, apologized, and will make an effort to do better in the future. After talking to the organizers, they are offering my readers a 15% discount code ‘DIGEST15’ on the conference fee. There are also reduced priced Early Bird tickets available until 31st October 2016.
