  1. A number of reposts from yesterday. When multiple contributors to this blog don’t seem to bother reading it on their off days it gives the impression that many of them are entirely apathetic about microbiology and only contribute to put it on their resume or something…

If all the contributors were professional microbiologists you’d think they’d all read it on their off days in order to keep up to date with the literature, and thus remember which ones were already submitted.

    • Dear Maximilian,
This is not the type of language I would like to see on my blog. I appreciate that you are a regular commenter, but I’d like to ask you to keep your language respectful and constructive. My team puts a lot of work into this blog, and while not every post is perfect, I very much appreciate all the work they do. All of the members care deeply about microbiology and science communication – a duplicate entry is hardly a sign of being apathetic.
      Best,
      Elisabeth Bik
