Good morning from New Jersey! A wide range of microbiome research to share with you today. Highlights include fecal microbiota transplantation in horses with colitis and a review on the foggy relationship between microbes and plastics. There are also a couple papers on metabolic modeling and an examination of how much black soldier flies like human food waste (hint: a lot).

Jobs

New postdoctoral positions were just announced at the University of Minnesota for “research at the interface of microbiome + human genomics” in the lab of Dr. Ran Blekhman (disclosure: my Ph.D. advisor).
