Good Morning! Highlights of today’s digest include an investigation with childern’s oral microbiota to show that consumption of licorice lollipop effectively reduces dental caries risk, another study showed the use of lantibiotic-producing colon commensal, Blautia producta BPSCSK, as a better probiotic agent against vancomycin-resistant gut pathogen Enterococcus faecium, and finally, to help reduce indoor air pollution, formaldehyde removal was measured to determine effectiveness of a plant-microbe technology with cultured microbes.
